I took some things to donate to the local thrift shop. I got there, and forgot a few things. I returned with what I forgot. I spotted a well built free standing fan. No plastic, I figure it must be an old US made fan. a little rusted on the grill, but for 10.00. I get it home Made in china. It does work. Sand blasted and painted the fan grill. I was holding the fan blade using my small hand held wire wheel, I tore the skin off the end of one finger. I got the blood stopped, and finished painting blade. Worked on the chrome base until it really shined. I put it all back together.I take my fan in the house to show the wife what a good bargain I found. Plug it in, it's too noisy she says. So my grand daughter is taking it to college in Arizona, where it will be appreciated. Stan
