spent 15 years doing that - owned quite a few single axle Chevy, Gmc and ford trucks. a little simpler in the 1970's and 1980's, no hazmat, no computer controlled meters, meters actually printed the ticket, I bought a lot of 8.25-9.00-10.00 tires. would spend up to 20 hours a day in one during spring and fall.
