I have dealt with this type of problem many times over the years and an easy fix is to take an old tube cut it in such a way that the good tube fits inside the old tube and works like a liner so that the good tube does not touch the tire it self. That way the tube has a cushion so of that protects the tube from the tire. Or in other words cut an old tube down the center area where it would normally but on the rim area and put it in the tire then put the good tube inside the cut tube
