What should the cylinder compression be on a Ford 841? Manual shows 205 psi, but just want to make sure I am reading it right, because seems pretty high. I suspect the rings aren’t the best, (plugs get oily, smoke is blue occasionally while moving the throttle) but I am trying to avoid a ring job for the moment. Seems like I might have an issue with the valves also (making a clicking sound under the valve cover) but I am trying to figure out my priorities. No reason to tackle the valve issue before I figure out the timing issue.
