Finished up baling first cut Sunday, 595 4x5 rolls so far, down about 15% from last years yield.
Have about 20-30 acres of prairie grass to cut around the end of the month, that should get me the 800+ rolls I'll need for winter feeding. Would like to have some extra in case of dry weather like last fall, ended up feeding 150 rolls during Sept, Oct last year when pastures dried up.
