Bryce,
I've got a MF50 diesel and it's a fine tractor (though mine's got a flat tire and starter solenoid issues.... )
Someone correct me, but I believe the model you are looking at is a high crop version. IMHO this is very good as if you are haying, driving over windrows, etc, there's less to catch on the underside. Also note the foot rest pedestals. These make for a most comefortable ride on a long day in the field. Sort of like prop-upping your feet on a motorcycle.
Check to see if is a multipower tranny. Some like them, I prefer the standard tranny. There is a cotter key that sets in a hole at the bottom of the bell housing. When you start it, watch for tranny oil coming out. The fix is a split and seal replacement. I really enjoy my model 50, for us the high/low gear ranges are very good. The 3pt hitch should come up and not be jerky, it will leak down.

The colony remained far from self-supporting and it was not until the early 1800's that things started to improve. Free settlers started to arrive, they followed the explorers across the mountains and where land was suitable set up farms. T
