The grass in my Alfalfa is higher that the 11.2/24 tires on my little loader tractor. As slow as I have to drive with the 17 MPH wind at 85ºF it looks like the third round back would be ready to rake and bale. Just looks like it on top. I can only take a half of a five foot cut with the dorF rotary cutter with it raised about 6" off the ground. I should have hired someone to cut it with a haybine to get more hay in the barn. After I get it covered with road apples and mulched tight It will make more for next cutting I guess.
