I could not find your other post either.If I under stand correctly-the clutch is releasing,and it tries to move as if it is in 4th/high gear when you release the clutch.Was this tractor under water when you got flooded?And it sets a lot of the time? I would bet the mainshaft pilot bearing inside the transmission is seized inside the rear of the input shaft.This would cause the transmission to be locked in direct drive(high gear!)-if an 8n tranny is like any other tranny that I have worked on.Good luck,Mark.
