It's a new Board just formed. It concerns abandoned structures in disrepair that pose a threat to the population. Spread of diseases and such from vermin, fire hazard, etc. If the property owner will not correct the situation the Town can have the structure demolished and bill the owner. If they don't pay a lien will be placed on the property. Several layers of safe guards to insure a danger actually exist. The Board consist of 5 citizens, property must be referred to use by a separate 3 member inspection committee, and we have to refer it to the 7 member Town council for action. All require a majority vote to send it on down the line.
