I have a 1955 jd 70, its been stored for many years. I got it out and and checked it out all over and cleaned up the points, made sure the tank was clean and so on. Put gas in it and it fired up great. I didnt put alot of gas in it at first. Then it ran out, put more in and it fired up agin but started to run very poor, backfireing belching black smoke and stalling out. So i assumed i got something in the carb. Took the carb off and cleand it witch seemed like a waste of time because it was spotless inside. So i put it all back together and still no better.. any help would be very much appreciated
