Does this "In 4th gear I can turn the motor by pushing on the back tire but it catches in a certain area." mean that you have one rear tire jacked up, transmission in 4th, and you are attempting to turn the engine by turning the tire? But that when it gets to a certain point in turning it clunks to a stop? If this is the scenario, most likely you have a broken connecting rod.
