I try to reach an "understanding" with a potential buyer. If circumstances warrant that I "hold" an item: we agree on how long or give a reasonable amount of time to receive payment. In the meantime: I place anyone that calls on a return calls list in the order they call. If a deal falls through (no show at agreed time or no payment) I call the next person on the list and tell them it's still available. Using C/L : I put in the ad PHONE CALLS ONLY. I get too many scammers and spammers otherwise. I figure if you're interested enough in an item you will call. Time wasters don't get any satisfaction. (Just my opinion)
