: I have a 53 D that has a copper fitting coming : out of the block just below and behind the carb. . : Is this a power block? My understanding is that : the carb. sucks water out of the block for extra : power in a bind, is that right ?? If so, can a : DLTX51 be modified to work with this system, is : the vaulve and necessary fittings and lines : avilable to do the job... : Thank You The JD D was designed to burn distillate to be more economical. You started the D on gasoline that was in the small tank at the back and then you switched it over to distillate. The line connecting to the block did suck water from there to be mixed with the distillate to add power and burn the distillate better. Hope this helps. Swede
