I have a1938 JD G my dad and uncle bought new from the JD dealer in Enumclaw, Washington. Still runs good but he always said he liked to see the old tractors in their "work clothes" so I have hesitated to paint it up. I think it is also interesting to see the old tractors with the farmer modifications, some good and some bad, but all for a reason the farmer knew at the time.
