Larry I have spent too many hours to rememberin tobacco fields on Cubs, Super As, up through the other offset Farmalls to the IH 274. A cub is slow and underpowered to me but serves a function and a good basic veggie gardening tractor. I once mowed a 5 acre hayfield with a neighbor's cub and 5' sickle mower for him. It took all afternoon, but the cub was like the turtle, it just kept going, steady and slow. Since the engine turns in the opposite direction the drive belt simply has to be crossed for the mower blades to turn in the prper direction.
