Falling is not a problem. It is the sudden stop at the end of the fall that is painful. I hit the deck on ice about 3 weeks ago and lucky I curled up mid-fall. I landed flat on my back and had tucked my chin in my chest and didn't hit my head. I did end up with stiff front neck muscles and a little pain in my upper back above my shoulder blades. A lot better than some people I know who have fallen. One chiropractor visit and I have been good since then. It could have been much worse! Sorry if I strayed off the topic!
