That's great advice! I keep my old Windows XP machine next to the new one, but there is physically no way for that PC to connect to the internet. The modem requires a cord. I could use a USB antennae, but obviously I won't. Just have to keep in mind that any flash or hard drive I put into an internet computer and then into the XP machine does run the slight risk of contaminating the XP machine.
I also have multiple hard drives that are never connected to a PC unless to add files to them, and even then only when not connected to online.
