Im glad it was painless for you. Marilyn had an injection in her hip and it took three people to hold her down. I'm glad I wasn't there. The cortisone did work for awhile though. She did eventually get the hip replaced and it was very successful.
The doctors hands are tied by the insurance companies. They have to try shots and/or physical therapy first even though they know it won't do any good in the long run. Did I hear it right that Medicare now requires six months of physical therapy before a joint replacement? Correct me if I am wrong.
