Well, I got the Cortizone Injection Wednesday. In talking with the Dr. before the procedure, she doesn't believe it will last very long if it does any good at all. It was what the Orthopedic Dr. wanted to try first. I couldn't believe there was no pain at all associated with it, felt a small pin prick and a light burn for a moment but that was all. She told me that it may take up to 2 weeks before I see any real improvement in my hip, She really feels that my lower back is more of a problem (or at least as much of a problem) as my hip. I don't know what others feel about the VA but I have complete trust in the Chillicothe Ohio VA hospital. Keith
