It is a 1967 Datsun 1600 roadster, although the fan and clutch are from my 1968 parts car. This started just over two years ago as a quick paint job on a mechanically sound car to get it back on the road and looking good after being put up for twelve years. The project has suffered very badly from mission creep, and it was only maybe six months ago when I finally turned the corner and started getting closer to being done. Then three weeks ago I found that the motor had major hidden problems, So I dragged the parts car out of the barn and into the shop to pull the motor. The motor from the parts car is much better and this is why I got into the fan clutch.
