I would take the JD 6410 for what your doing. It is shorter and the 4wd is a big advantage on hills. If you where talking about tillage I would go with the JD 4255. The shuttle in the JD 6410 is nicer on a baler. I have a JD 6400 MFWD and I have ran my JD 566 baler in an emergency before. It made it pull but it did alright. So your JD 456 is an easier pulling baler.
