6410 vs 557

Hello, just wanting to get others opinions on a few tractors I am looking at. I have a 557 JD baler with Net Wrap and am looking for a newer baling tractor. I am looking at a 6410 JD with 3k hours, it is also a 4x4... Fairly hilly to steep country we bale on... does anyone have any experience with these two working well or not well together? Should I be looking for more HP? I also have an option of a 4255 but its 2WD... any thoughts appreciated

I would take the JD 6410 for what your doing. It is shorter and the 4wd is a big advantage on hills. If you where talking about tillage I would go with the JD 4255. The shuttle in the JD 6410 is nicer on a baler. I have a JD 6400 MFWD and I have ran my JD 566 baler in an emergency before. It made it pull but it did alright. So your JD 456 is an easier pulling baler.
