I'm the last one in my family who does not have a smart phone to text people and I don't feel the need for it. Slowly punching in the letters on the old flip phone is time consuming and aggravating. I can talk on the phone while working, driving a tractor/combine but there is no way I can text. If I have to shut down the machine to answer a text, well I won't.
And people that text and drive in traffic, that is a special kind of illegal activity that really needs to be punished.
