This is my little Massy that I bought for $50. It didn't have an engine and the mower gear box shaft was very worn on the coupler end. I welded up the end and turned it down. I put in the Wisconsin engine in and used it for 10 years. Then I had to put in new bearings in the mower. Finally the Wisconsin engine got difficult to start so I put in the 6.5 Honda clone from Harbour Freight. I wanted to put in 13 HP engine but I already had this one and it works purtty good. I can mow a one acre lot on a half tank of gas. It is kind of amazing. Of course in really tall weeds I have to drop to first gear and clutch it ahead a little at a time. I see that you can now buy little diesel engines. I would like to do that someday.
