You sound like a guy my dad used to hang around with. His wife wouldn't let him have anything good. When they'd go for coffee,he didn't even dare eat pie because he was afraid his wife would find out. Dad said he was so malnourished,he'd fall asleep in the car when they were going a short distance. Poor guy slipped on the ice,ruptured his spleen and died. I guess he might as well have had that pie after all.
