I recently had an Autolite generator from a Cockshutt 30 sent off to be repaired. I was not able to have it rebuilt locally because it had fried the armature windings. The initial estimate was for 30 days, but in the end it took about 90 days to have it repaired. It wasn't cheap, but this tractor was to be restored to as close to factory as possible. One rebuilder that I bet can still help you out is "Wilson". Do a Google search for "Wilson starters". Have a little patience on their web site and you'll probably find the exact Wilson generator number that you need. A lot of NAPA stores sell Wilson products, although they may have to be special ordered. Usually, the NAPA owner can get your generator sent in if he really wants to help you out. Of course, I'm sure a few other posters will give you places to help you out also. Good luck.
