I have a cockshutt 20 that when I got it, it had a 12 volt battery in. They hooked the battery up wrong,+ to ground, which cooked the coil. I was told that it was converted to 12 volt. Long story short it was a 6 volt generator which is now junk. I took it to have it and the regulator repaired and was told you can't get parts for auto lite generators anymore. Is this true? The lights all work, and it didn't run bad until you give it full gas then it will miss bad. I rebuilt the dist. new plugs, wires, rotor and,cap, pertronics and coil. Any thoughts on this would be helpful. Thanks in advance Al
