No doubt I would take the bill and ask to be reimbursed, then if no help, look to court remedy (small claims?) But, as others have said, best would have been to retap to a larger size, and then give them the bill for the quick/inexpensive fix. But, I guess I do not always practice what I preach so to speak as my wife took her truck to have new tires put on, and the Wal-Mart she went to took the clear coat off all 4 wheels mounting the tires, and I never took it back and demanded they replace all 4 wheels which I have regretted, as it would have likely prevented someone else from the same fate.
