Jeff's bulk tank compressor went up today. That's the second used one since he started farming. Enough is enough. He's got a new one coming through the Co-op. They'll take it out of his milk check over time. I just spent well over $300 of his money today for a ring gear and throwout bearing for the dump truck, too. Looks like 2017 is gonna start out right where 2016 left off. Sheesh!
They are picking up milk every milking until he gets the new compressor installed.
He did pick up a springing heifer about a month out for a decent price at the sale barn today. She's a bit on the small side, (1100 lbs. or so) but is a very nice looking animal and the price was right. ($900)
One thing about farming, there is always something to do and always a place for any extra (or future) money you might have. Lol!
