I think online shopping is killing more than just sears.
I rarely find what I need at a store in town, so I either find it at amazon or ebay.
I bought replacement hydraulic cylinders fron International hydraulics for a little more than two rebuild kits cost. Ordered a few cylinders. So far so good. I forget where they are made, not made in China. Any hydraulic cylinder that you unscrews the end has to be better than the one I have that use a wire to hold then together. The grove the wire goes in seems to damage the O-ring on the piston more times than it doesn't. I hate the wire design.
