Old, I remember when JC penny sold the maintenance free lifetime battery. They did the same thing to me. At some point they said we no longer carry the battery. Sorry
So much for the definition of lifetime. I recently discovered that Auto zones definition of lifetime is different form O'Reilly's. I purchased lifetime brake pads form O'Reilly's and they wore out. Went back for new ones and they said our lifetime means we will replace it if it's a manufacturer's defect. So I went across the street to the Zone for new pads. Then I asked them what's their definition of lifetime. They looked at me funny and said what do you mean? I said is this manufacturer's life time or wear lifetime. Zone said, when the pads wear out, bring them back and we'll replace them. BYW the zone was half the price.
I just purchased a new Maytag dishwasher. On the front is a sticker, 10 year limited lifetime. Read the fine print on owner's manual. One year on machine, 10 years on motor. So if motor goes bad on year two, do you get a free motor and pay for service call and labor to install? Again, loop holes in definition of lifetime. Read the fine print.

Or wouldn't someone have the battery on life support, a trickle charger. geo
