Bought brand new truck couple months ago. Yes I will use it to take tractors to plow days and shows. But anyways, kept my old diamond plate toolbox and it is showing its age compared to shiny black truck. Thought about taking back off and polishing, but also thought about paint gloss black, however do not want it peeling off later so was wandering if any one had painted old weathered diamond plate and how it was prepped and how it turned out and how it held up? If painting is not such a good idea what of kind/ type of polish should I use to try and make it look better? Thanks for any input/ideas.
