Having two H's and looking for a third, I'd say between $1,000 and $2,000 for an average, serviceable one.
Earlier this fall, there was one on an auction locally. I checked it out ahead of time and it was straight and original, quiet gears, no smoke from the exhaust, original paint so-so. I couldn't attend the auction, so I left a max bid of $2,000 with the auctioneer thinking I might buy it for $1,200 to $1,800. It sold for $2,500, but even the auctioneer thought that was high.
I bought one of mine on a consignment auction a couple of years ago for $400, but that was a fluke. Temp around zero, north wind with no shelter, and it was the next to the last item that sold. Most other bidders had bailed out by then.
