SUNDAY--These have a volume control on them as well as being able to control it from the phone. It was pretty windy yesterday and I had some but not much wind noise. I was operating the old backhoe and just turned them off while I was on it. They really surprised me how comfortable they were to wear. As far as the background noise, they automatically cancel it out to the point of directing the pickup directly in front of you, so the guy told me that in noisy places, have my wife sit directly across from me and I would be able to hear her more clearly. The only thing that worries me is I'm supposed to cover them (western hat, hoodie or something) or take them out when in rain. From what some of you guys and a lot of others have told me, if I would have gotten them a few years ago, I would not have worn them. He said they were renewable every 4 years and even if I'm not having trouble with them come in & get a new set because of the new technology so you vets that have had them for a long time or have gotten them & wouldn't wear them might want to give them a try, they have a 90 day warranty. If I don't like them I can take them back and he will try something else for me. VA will repair them of course after that 90 days. Keith
