The mention of Heisler was a trip down memory lane! I worked in Harry's old factory office in Hudson, IA right at the end of Bonneson selling the Uni Loader to Case circa 1970 or so. My office had a nice view of the schoo yard across the street and I enjoyed watching "Recess"! Our company had an assembly line for the Uni Loader in that long building. The Hudson school now has the site for a highschool, but the west end still looks the same. We moved the equipment, including a 300 ton old press with about a 6foot diameter bull gear (open, of course) to the existing building east of the Waterloo airport on Big Rock Road...a building built to make jail cell needs, I am told.
