Post a "Wanted" ad in the classified section of this site for the starter that you want. (Look in the upper-left corner to access this feature) Specify what you want and you'll probably have somebody contacting you with what they have to sell. If you get a starter that needs repair, perhaps you local starter/generator shop can help you, that is if you still have one in your area. Certain rebuilders have a a feature that allows you to possibly send in a dead unit if needed. Several months ago, I had a rare, but shorted generator send in to Wilson Industries and had them rebuild it, actually for a fair price.
