Be sure to check your smoke alarms. I went to replace the batteries in the 8 we have throughout the house and 4 of them I could hardly hear after replacing the batteries. They are hard wired to 110v system in our house with battery back up and the sounder has gone bad in half of them since the last "time change" when we replaced the batteries and tested them. Guess I'll replace all of them since they're all 18yrs old same as the house.
