I have a 1952 Ferguson to30 that I bought from a guy who had rebuilt most of it. He changed it from 6 volt to 12 volt. The starter is the original and it is just spinning and won't engage the flywheel. Wondering if anyone can help me figure out what's wrong. Another question is, does it hurt that it has been switched to 12 volt. It's worked fine for 3 years.
