Cutting the wires and disabling the safety switches is drastic. A friend has the 4wd version and it would not start about a year ago. I used jumpers to bypass the switches temporarily. Problem was solved when I removed the ground wire attached to the frame by the battery and scratched the paint off the frame so the ground could make contact. Factory painted the frame then put ground wire on.
