I use one to put ground chicken feed in. Mine is an Anthony box with an electric running gear. Mine didn't have a hoist so someone added a crank,some pulleys, and a cable. You can crank it up just as high as hydraulic but you can flip down the stay and leave it there pretty easy. I've gotten to the point that I fill it (three tons or so) with it cranked up and just leave it that way. It's a handy wagon for the purpose but to hate the wide ear corn gate on the back. I've made a chute to narrow it for a bucket but it still sprinkles enough to give the cats a place to poop.
