My wife had surgery at age 40. She hurt so bad I finally dumped her off at the doorway to the ER, she could hardly walk. They did surgery the next day. She was like a new person and was out walking a mile a day about a week after. That was 28 years ago and has had no problem with it since. She can lift about what ever I can lift. We moved a big couch the other day, one on each end. She rode on the back of my motorcycle for a 4000 miles trip last summer.
