I see that Tim Tebow is holding a workout in Los Angeles on August 30th to get MLB teams interested in signing him to play Major League Baseball. There is alot of optimism out there, but also the usual back biting by a few jerks in the sports media:
From NBC Sports: The tryout will happen next Tuesday in Los Angeles, according to multiple reports. All 30 MLB teams have been invited. The real question is whether all (or some . . . or any) will actually attend.

What is wrong with these people? Give the guy a chance. He's still young enough to compete, was a Heisman Trophy winner. Runs a 4.7 40 yard dash. Even if he's mediocre he will sell tickets. People will be curious just to see a sports figure who doesn't use the f-bomb.
