Case used that system in a few la's livinia injection system seems like what its called.I had an md and somebody messed the rods up on engine controls.lucky me, I worked at an ihc dealership.I toured the blue ribbon service manuals found the engine.took 3 attempts to get them set and timed propper.then had to get a seal kit for the inj pump.we had the tools in an old box.pump was not as bad as the rods but took a full day.when done it started great and ran fine.dyno showed I had fuel a tad high so I lowered the smoke stop.left it at 44 hp.they were noted for cracking heads.I wonder if it was because of improper shut down? If you killed it on diesel it was hard to restart
