The other day I go to start my farmall with a no.5 mower to mow road sides when it won't turn over. Nothing, no clicking from the starter or anything. If you keep holding the ignition switch it will get warm. However the lights work and such so I know the battery is good. I've pull started it before with my Ford jubilee with no problem. But I tried it yesterday and I put the farmall in 4th gear as always to start it and the wheels dont turn the motor over, they just lock up then turn in opposite directions. Tried it in 5th but that gears too high but the wheels actually spin normally in that gear. Then we tried it with a 34 ton pickup and the farmall acted the same. So now I'm at a dead end and could really use some expertise, summers almost over and id like to do some mowing with the old H before summers over.
