Two week ago I picked, passed out to daughters and ate 6 dozen ears. Which is why I have always grown sweet corn. I like giving it away. last week I went on vacation when I came back every ear in the field is now gone. Raccoons have done it for the second year. I put out Yellow Marlon mix several weeks ago and my dog stopped barking at night so I thought I was good.....not. I give up. not going to plant sweet corn next year. I'll plant more taters instead. My tater corp is over the top and every one like them too.
