The ole woman is putten our excess up for enjoyment later,, With practically nobody hunting them coons and ground hogs is getting to the point around here that planting lots of sweet corn and letting them have their share doesn't work anymore. We have a pretty big patch this year and even though coons and groundhogs is thicker than bark on a log we haven't lost the first ear to them. Three electric wires, a few dishes of fly bait and coke inside the wire to get the fence jumpers and an Elkhound in the yard. The field corn on the farm next to us isn't fairing so well. It is about 1/4 mile from the house to a creek and even out by the road every stalk is stripped from the creek 2/3s of the way to the house. Sweetfeet we spray Round up under the fence to take care of that problem.
