Recently I posted a question about a highly complex John Deere pressure and flow compensated hydraulic system issue on the DEERE Forum, and got help from "Richard in New Zealand", about as far away on the earth from North Dakota (where I'm at) as you can get, and he replied and saved me a heck of lot of work and troubleshooting.
The help and camaraderie that can be found here are simply AMAZING!
