Quick search indicates that Hi Pro is for high profile. The shape is said to have feet that allow quicker install in assembly lines and better seating when installed. There is no claim or special alloys or treatment that would make them superior to any other key. Of course this comes from the inter-web so who knows how credible it is but it did come from a supplier's site.
