Sure, why not. I bought an old Rolls Royce at a Mecum about 10 years ago for less than $30k and sold it recently for over $40k after enjoying it for many years and having fun working on it and driving it. Point being there are many folks that will say "oh I would never buy a vehicle at one of those auctions you will just pay too much" but the counter to that is you will get to see a lot of tractors or cars or whatever and it will be fun (and you don't HAVE To buy anything). Many times you can pick up a hot rod or tractor or vintage truck for much less than the owner has invested, and who cares about the overpriced Ferraris and Porsches anyway.
