There are no shim washers as such in that starter. With the original style drive there should be four washers. Two of them are the same and have a smaller inside diameter. They go one on each end of the armature to provide a larger surface than the step in the shaft to control end play. The other two have a larger ID and slide over the armature shaft on the drive end and limit the travel of the starter drive gear. One of them is about 50% thicker than the other one. If you use the newer style drive these two washers are no longer used.
